Grievance Procedures
It is the intent of the Williston Basin Skating Club Board of Directors to provide an opportunity for coaches, parents and players to express their concerns and receive a timely and appropriate response. To ensure a respectful and professional experience, the Board insists that players’ parents, coaches and Board members follow the grievance procedure as presented. NO GRIEVANCES WILL BE ADDRESSED AT MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS. If an issue brought up at the monthly meeting is determined to be a grievance, at the judgement of the Board members, the WBSC Board of Directors will direct the appropriate party (ies) to fill out the grievance form and follow the established procedure as laid out below. There are to be no spontaneous grievance related conversations immediately following a game or practice. Players, parents and coaches agree to wait 24 hours after a game or practice prior to initiating a conversation with a WBSC Coach, Program Director or Board member. WBSC Coaches, Program Directors, and Board Members agree NOT to participate in any conversations where the grievance procedure has not been followed.
